IMR Repair Shop Tracking Study Reveals WDs Get Majority of Ride Control Business for European Vehicles from Independent Repair Shops

As with ride control products for Asian vehicles, independent repair shops make the WD their preferred choice when it comes to purchasing ride control parts for European vehicles. According to IMR Inc.’s Repair Shop Tracking Study, 65.2 percent of shops make the warehouse distributor their No. 1 choice for European vehicle ride control products while 31.6 percent choose the retailer first.

“WDs get the most business for ride control products for European vehicles, as well as for domestic and Asian vehicles, according to our Repair Shop Tracking study,” said Bill Thompson, president and CEO of IMR Inc. “Although dealers do not get much ride control business from shops, they do get their highest percentage when it comes to European vehicles, where the dealer gets 3.2 percent of the business according to our survey.”
